About Chris
Chris is a Software Engineering graduate from New Zealand living in West Yorkshire. He is a keen advocate of open source software such as the Linux kernel, Firefox, OpenOffice.org and Joomla. He installed Linux for the first time in 2005 and never looked back. His operating system of choice is the supremely sublime Fedora.
Chris currently works in birthing new computers and healing older ones. Movement is good and to that end he enjoys travelling, sailing and mountain-biking when time and finances conspire to make this possible. His blog is (mostly) written from a laptop powered by wind. Having spent time living and working in Africa he is a big fan of Fairtrade products.
